Just wanted to say that beautiful and smart people are not welcome in this village club! Prostitution system, consummation are the main things there. Firstly I was disappointed that they didn't allow me to enter, but then i said Thanks God, coz I hope i don't look like a prostitute. Dear guests, if you want to spend great night out, choose whatever you want except this pretentious village club.
Just impolite and non respectable for everyone.. We attended a conference at the exhibition centre and visited this restaurant 3 times in 36 hours. The soups were very good as was the sushi, the dim sum, the crispy stir- fried sea bass with vegetables and the scallops. The Peking duck was excellent but the accompanying pancakes were soggy and broke- up as soon as the duck made contact with them.
Having lived in Kiev for a while now I have seen a lot of clubs and restaurants here. This was my second and this time definitely last visit. The service staff is unattentive and whenever you want to order something you get the feeling that the waiter is doing you a favour. The food itself is average and does not justify the prices at all. One of my friends came a bit late and it was not possible to get any food between 10 and 12 as the place is being rederocated into a night club.
This was also the focus of the waiters who in the end were chasing use away from our table as this you can only continue to usr if you have booked it and paid a ridiculous deposit. Standing at the bar then we were very rudely asked to go outside since we hadn't paid the entrance fee yet. This after having dine with 3 people leaving a substantial amount of money.
Probably we should have also passed the face control then but we didn't try. At this moment we felt highly uncomfortable and just left. Do not waste your time in going there.
