World's oldest profession. There will always be a market. If the Govt here were to license, tax and remove the pandering from the street corners, an upscale tourist draw could be created. Clients would appreciate regular medical checkups, the girls and guys could be protected from assaults and deviants, families could walk the streets without offending little Johnnie's developing morality and everyone could coexist.
Like with pot, once an air of legitimacy comes to an economic sector, the lowlife criminal element for the most part moves on as competition kills corrupt monopolies. The clients could go to the providers rather than the other way around. The money to be made is staggering.
